Our terms of service

Terms and conditions

Our terms and conditions are clear, straightforward, and easy to understand. We aim to treat everyone fairly and with respect, and we ask that this is reflected in return.

Fees

All course fees must be paid in full before any certificates are issued. This applies whether payment is made in full or through a payment plan.

Course fees remain payable in full regardless of attendance. Missed modules or sessions do not reduce the overall course fee.

Attendance

Students are required to attend a minimum of 80% of the course in order to successfully complete the training.

If attendance falls below this level, additional study or catch-up sessions may be required before certification can be considered.

Missed Modules

If a training module is missed, students are responsible for catching up on the material. Where possible, options for attending a future module or accessing recorded materials may be offered.

Certification

Certification is awarded at the discretion of the training provider, based on attendance, participation, and completion of all course requirements.

All course fees must be fully paid before certification can be awarded.

Cancellations & Refunds

If you need to cancel your place on the course, please notify us in writing as soon as possible.

Deposits are non-refundable.

Where a cancellation is made before the course start date, any additional fees paid may be refunded at the discretion of the training provider.

Once the course has started, fees are non-refundable and any outstanding payments remain payable in full.

Transfers

In some circumstances, it may be possible to transfer your place to a future course. This is offered at the discretion of the training provider and may be subject to an administration fee.

Student Expectations & Responsibilities

Students are expected to approach the training in a professional and respectful manner at all times.

This includes:

  • Treating fellow students and the trainer with respect

  • Maintaining appropriate boundaries within the training environment

  • Engaging with the course content and participating as required

Any behaviour that is disruptive, inappropriate, or impacts the learning experience of others may result in removal from the course at the discretion of the training provider.

Training and Personal Responsibility

This training is designed as a professional educational programme.

While aspects of the course may feel personally reflective, it is not intended to provide therapy or replace personal therapeutic support.

Students remain responsible for their own wellbeing and are encouraged to seek appropriate professional support outside of the training if needed.

Learning Requirements & Support

Students are responsible for engaging with the course material and completing any required learning tasks.

If you have specific learning needs or require additional support, you are encouraged to discuss this in advance so that reasonable adjustments can be considered where possible.

We aim to provide a supportive learning environment, while recognising that each student is responsible for their own progress and engagement.

Health, Suitability & Disclosure

Students are expected to be mentally and physically well enough to undertake training and to practise safely.

If you have any concerns about your suitability for training or practice, you are encouraged to discuss this in confidence before enrolling.

Students must disclose any relevant health conditions that may affect their participation or practice. This includes, but is not limited to, significant mental health conditions, a history of psychosis, heart conditions, or respiratory conditions such as asthma.

All disclosures will be treated sensitively and in confidence. The training provider reserves the right to determine whether participation is appropriate and to suggest additional support where necessary.

Criminal Convictions

Students are required to disclose any relevant unspent criminal convictions prior to enrolment.

This is to ensure suitability for professional practice and, where applicable, future work with clients.

Course Materials

All training materials are provided for personal use only.

They must not be copied, shared, distributed, or reproduced in any format without prior written permission.

Professional Standards & Scope of Practice

This training is delivered in line with recognised professional standards within hypnotherapy.

Students are expected to work within their level of training and competence at all times, and to practise safely, ethically, and responsibly.

Where applicable, training supports progression towards recognised professional standards such as the Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD) and alignment with organisations such as the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH).

Students are responsible for ensuring they meet any additional requirements for professional membership, insurance, and ongoing practice.

Our aim is to provide a supportive, professional training environment that enables students to develop safely, confidently, and to a high standard.
